Hans Rudolf Manuel Deutsch (1525–1571) was a Swiss artist.〔(The Concise Grove Dictionary of Art, Oxford University Press, Inc )〕 He made several of the woodcuts for ''De re metallica'' (the metals and mining treatise by Georgius Agricola, the "father of mineralogy") and for Sebastien Munster's ''Cosmographia'' (the widely circulated encyclopedic book published in 24 editions in several languages between 1544 and 1628). Deutsch's father, Niklaus Manuel Deutsch I, and Deutsch's brother, Niklaus Manuel Deutsch II, were also artists. The elder Niklaus had taken the last name "Manuel", but all three also commonly used "Deutsch" as part of their names and signed their paintings with initials ending in "D".〔(The Concise Grove Dictionary of Art, Oxford University Press, Inc )〕 ==References== *(Swiss Theater Dictionary ) (article in German) *(Swiss Historical Dictionary ) (article in German, French and Italian) *(New German Biography ) (article in German) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Hans Rudolf Manuel Deutsch」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
